Quenching

GF-ELTI, specialized in the production of industrial plants and furnaces, manufactures quenching heads and tunnels for heat treatment lines.

The quenching head is typically integrated in a continuous treatment line: quenching takes place with the product advancing continuously or discontinuously, or stationary inside.

The quenching tunnel is made of a bearing metal structure where the quenching modules are installed. These modules are equipped with distributing nozzles fed by pressurized quenching liquid. The nozzles can be oriented to ensure that the liquid flows tangentially to the surface, ensuring the removal of the vapor layer from the piece surface, and therefore faster cooling.
