Heat treatment solutions for the fastener industry: IVR's expertise on show

The next edition of Fastener Fair Italy, scheduled for June 24 and 25 at CityLife in Milan, is shaping up to be a key event for industry professionals: a dedicated space for technical exchange, industry updates, and networking focused on fastener technologies.
On this occasion, IVR will present one of its most recent installations: a continuous heat treatment line for bolts and nuts capable of reaching an hourly throughput of approximately 2,400 kg in quench-and-temper treatment under an Endogas atmosphere. For the Italy-based company, this project holds particular strategic significance, as it is located just a few hundred kilometers from its own production facility and was developed in close collaboration with the end user. The line features a cast link belt conveyor system, a solution designed to handle large and heavy components without compromising process quality.
Flexible configurations for every production requirement
IVR's range for the fastener market includes multiple configurations, tailored to different component geometries, sizes, and production volumes.
For small metal parts and high-volume production runs, a continuous mesh belt conveyor furnace offers a practical alternative, also supporting surface treatments such as case hardening, carbonitriding, and related processes. This type of system is already represented by numerous references in IVR's portfolio.
Where longer components are involved — such as large-diameter screws — the chamber furnace solution is the preferred choice: parts are carefully positioned in dedicated fixtures, eliminating the risk of distortion during treatment.
Custom engineering and ongoing technical support
Every IVR system is the result of a co-design process built around the customer's specific requirements. The company's approach combines deep technical knowledge, hands-on industry expertise, and a structured after-sales service that supports the end user well beyond commissioning. Close collaboration with both customers and suppliers — at every stage of the project — underpins the technological quality and reliability of each installation.
Particular attention is paid to the furnace heating system, which is engineered to minimize energy consumption and reduce CO₂ emissions. The entire production cycle is managed automatically through proprietary software developed in-house, which monitors and coordinates all operational phases along the line.
